NTA SWAYAM July 2026 : Category-Wise Reservation Break-Up
No fixed category-wise seat matrix is notified; allocation and reservation, if any, are governed by the participating institution and applicable rules.

- Stage 1 (Course Enrollment and Completion): Enroll in the relevant SWAYAM course and complete prescribed learning requirements.
- Stage 2 (Registration for Proctored Examination): Register for the NTA-conducted proctored examination and pay the applicable fee.
- Stage 3 (Computer-Based Test): CBT of 180 minutes; Shift-I 09:30 AM–12:30 PM and Shift-II 03:00 PM–06:00 PM.
- Stage 4 (Result Declaration): NTA declares results/scores as per the official schedule.
- Exam city and admit card updates will be announced before the exam.

- Class 10 marksheet and certificate for date of birth proof.
- 10+2 marksheet/certificate for UG or certificate courses; bachelor’s degree for PG courses.
- Recent colour passport-size photograph and scanned signature as per prescribed specifications.
- Valid category/EWS/PwD certificate in prescribed format, if applicable.
- Government-issued photo identity proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Passport).

- Register with an active mobile number and valid email ID.
- Fill personal details, educational qualifications, and course preferences accurately.
- Upload photograph, signature, and required documents in the prescribed format.
- Preview the application and correct any error before final submission.
- Pay the applicable fee through the available online payment modes.
- Download and preserve the final application form and fee receipt.

- Other Backward Classes (OBC - Non Creamy Layer): 3 Years relaxation in the upper age limit. Candidates must present a valid OBC-NCL certificate issued within the prescribed financial year by a competent revenue authority.
- Scheduled Castes (SC) & Scheduled Tribes (ST): 5 Years upper age relaxation along with complete exemption from application examination fees in accordance with Central / State Government reservation policies.
- Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 10% reservation in direct recruitment vacancies for eligible candidates holding a valid EWS Income & Asset Certificate issued by an authorized Tehsildar or Sub-Divisional Officer.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 Years age relaxation for UR/EWS, 13 Years for OBC, and 15 Years for SC/ST categories, including scribe facility provisions as per RPwD Act 2016.
- Ex-Servicemen (ESM): Deduction of actual military service rendered from the candidate's age plus an additional 3 years relaxation, subject to fulfilling minimum service norms.
